In March

Grant sang with the middle school choir
(eye spy with my little eye Grant in the middle of the 2nd row)

I went to a wedding (can't even remember whose...who's..whos?)
and really loved their lighting. No weddings are in our near future but does that stop me from collecting ideas?
No.
No it does not.

We hotsted a birthday party for my brother Robby where he played a lot of chess and I ate a lot of the Dubai chocolates Kate gave Rob as a gift.
Sister tax.
(Grant did you let him win? It WAS his birthday so I hope so).

We got to talk to Elder Pugh!!!

I crushed it in the mom department by showing up to parent lunch at the middle school with the S-8 garlic rib eye sandwiches from "Oh Mai" and Diet Dr. Peppers for Grant (not pictured...too cool) and Grace (extra cool for being in the pic with me)

We all fell in LOVE with Kate's recipe for home made chicken pot pie.
The amount of pride and accomplishment I felt every time I made this dinner was not a small thing

Grace's band competed at the State music festival and did a fantastic job!
I maybe cried a little.

"seriously mom?"

Grace was the cutests lacrosse player on the planet. I was only able to make it to 3 of her games. Based on those 3 games I assume it would take me about 300 to get a firm grasp on how the game actually works.
I decided the closest sport I could think of to lacrosse is quidditch.

More on this later but Lucy turned 16!!!!!!!! and we threw her a surprise party with the nicest friends around!

I won't name names but someone had to be taken to the dr. office
because someone got a tiny magnet stuck in their ear
I thought it was pretty funny
until the dr. couldn't get it out on the 3rd attempt
then I felt bad for laughing about it and started to panic
the panic stopped and the laughter resumed when not one but 2 tiny magnets came out during the "irrigation treatment"
I lie not.

HELLO licensed driver #3!!!!!

More hikes on the Bear Canyon suspension bridge

Rosie and Darla got to hang out with our cute neighbor dog Lucy

My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary (aren't they the cutest?) and we had a big family celebration...I should definitely post more about that!

Grace and Darla being cute! More than once they have both fallen asleep like this!

Girls camp planning and partying started to get in full swing!

Grace went to the temple with friends

More chatting with Elder Pugh!!!

Marian went to Prom and had the best time!

She ended up being in the same Prom group with her two cousins!

Woah baby March was a lot!  But I'm pretty sure it wasn't any different in the months that followed! In fact I know it wasn't! This is such a full and hectic time of life but mostly full of joy and excitement! I am so glad to be along for the ride (even if I am hanging on by my fingernails sometimes)...I wouldn't have it any other way!
